CallScript is the idea I'd like to try first: keeping tool orchestration as
inspectable data feels useful. Bun's native compilation experiment is the
other one I'll be watching.
For the text-layout details behind the release, the Pretext repository
has API examples and demos.

The new compiler API is the part I'm most interested in: synchronous and asynchronous clients, AST types, guards, and factories. It gives tooling authors a way into the native compiler's syntax and semantic analysis.
Pretext reaches 1.0 with browser-derived line-breaking rules and improved rich-inline layout. It measures text once, then calculates wrapping at different widths without DOM layout. Upgrading from 0.0.9 needs API changes, and bundles have grown.

Treating UI as a pure function of explicit application state makes roles, billing states, and feature flags easier to inspect and test. Especially relevant when an agent checks one happy-path screenshot and declares the interface done.
A walkthrough of procedural tree growth where buds compete for light and share growth resources. Branching shapes emerge over simulated seasons. The visualizations make the feedback loop much easier to follow than the equations alone.

A visual music sequencer built with Strudel and React Flow. Connect instruments, patterns, and effects as nodes while the music plays. An inviting way to explore Strudel when a blank code editor feels less musical.
An open Bun PR proposes compiling JavaScript and TypeScript to machine code with `bun build --compile --aot`. A huge compiler experiment, with compatibility restrictions worth reading before imagining every existing app becoming a native binary.
A Mermaid-syntax renderer producing SVG themed through CSS variables. The project reports a roughly six-times-smaller bundle and rendering up to 500 times faster than Mermaid.js. Tempting numbers, though I'd still compare it on my own diagrams.

Vercel Labs' lightweight design agent turns a page description into a single HTML file, with a browser preview and version history. I like the small output format for quickly trying interface ideas.
CallScript parses a JavaScript subset into a JSON tool-call plan instead of executing generated code. Inspectable, resumable plans seem promising for more predictable agent workflows, though that alone doesn't prove they're more reliable.
